Rules of the ED

The Emergency Department is a unique environment, and a place where medical students are important and integral part of the medical team, and can find they have more autonomy than other rotations.

Suturing 101

You will no doubt have the opportunity to do some suturing during any Emergency Medicine rotation, so the best thing to do is...learn how to do it right!  Here you will find a basic introduction to suturing in the ED, created by the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Remember, there is no substitution for practice, so take every opportunity you can!
